Yes, we know there are tons of restaurant reviews on the web. Most of them have issues such as hard to navigate, not enough information, not updated frequently, and not comprehensive enough. NorthEatsSouth has either solved these problems or is close to doing so. But that alone wasn't enough to get us out of our dining table chairs and build a website.

Our biggest complaint is that most restaurant reviews either 1) don't tell the truth, or 2) the people writing the reviews SUCK...they can't tell the difference between Morton's steaks and Shoney's, and their recommendations prove it.

This website is written by people who KNOW food. We cook good food, we eat out often, and we KNOW good food. In addition, we have some old fashioned Yankee roots, so we don't pull any punches. If we think the restaurant is buying its food from Sam's Club and reselling it to you, we will tell you. If we order hot tea from a Chinese restaurant expecting Oolong and got a Lipton tea bag...WE WILL TELL YOU!. (That really happenned...)
