Joysey Girl spent many years in the northeast, growing up in New Jersey and taking regular trips to New York City. As a child she enjoyed Taylor Ham and egg sandwiches, crumb buns on Sunday mornings and cold cuts with home grown Jersey Tomatoes (Rutgers) on Italian Bread and Hard rolls. During her working career she traveled to Atlanta, Tampa, Denver, Cincinnati, New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and other major cities enjoying four star restaurants on the corporate expense account. (Gotta love that!)
Recently she lived near Washington DC where regular dining in and around the city was a passion frequently coupled with concerts, plays and sporting events.
She loves to cook and bake for family and friends including grilling fine steaks, holiday baking, tried and true dishes such as appetizers, special salads and dishes with lots of gravy and homemade rolls with вЂhigh absorbency’ ratings.
In 2004 she was instrumental in producing a cookbook of recipes from famous performers; with all proceeds going toward the arts and education
South Philly has spent many years travelling the northeast on business, including a lot of time in Philadelphia. During the travels, he consumed an incredible amount of food on the company expense account. He is famous for finding good restaurants anywhere. He is perhaps best known for finding one in Wooster, Ohio (Jaol House), right in the middle of Amish country, and spending $50 all by himself while consuming only one beer (on the company expense account, of course.)
He has eaten at Emeryl’s, Bobby Flay’s, Wolfgang Puck’s, Morton’s, Ruths Chris, The Jockey Club, The Delmonico, nearly every restaurant at Epcot, and three of the top ten steak houses in the US (depending on which year the ratings happen.) He also cooks on a regular basis, and uses fine spices from Penzey’s to compliment fresh cuts of meat and vegetables. He has eaten beef, pork, chicken, turkey, duck, aligator, buffalo, ostrich, snapping turtle, shellfish, fish, shark, squirrel, rabbit, frog, deer, and antelope. He likes sushi, sashimi, and raw oysters, and likes his meat medium rare and his eggs over easy.
